Where can you find some of the future big names of show jumping all in one place? The Adequan/FEI North American Youth Championships, also known as Young Riders, rounds up not only the best young jumpers in the country but also promising eventers and dressage riders as well. Open to riders ages 12 to 21, the NAYC gives these talented and ambitious girls and boys the chance to vie for team and individual FEI medals in three Olympic disciplines.
With prizes such as $50,000 in the Junior Jumping Championship and $75,000 in the Young Rider Jumping Championship, the NAYC is not only a place for each of these individuals to put their name on the map, but to also bring home some serious prize money as a reward for all of their hard work. Competition in each age category is held over the course of multiple days and features both a Team Competition, with Teams fielded by Zone, and an Individual Competition. Check out this Instagram roundup presented by Kentucky Performance Products that features some of the action at the NAYC.
Big congrats to the Quebec/Alberta dressage team on their 🥇gold medal win at the Adequan®/FEI North American Youth Championships (NAYC) . Even more impressive? They were the only three-rider team, and so didn’t have the breathing space of a drop score. Way to go Camille Carier Bergeron, Rakeya Moussa & Beatrice Boucher. @camille_carier_bergeron @beaboub @fei_global #Repost @equestrian_can OH CANADA!!!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦 #FEINAYC #YoungRiders #Dressage #GoldMedal #Champions #Teamwork #Alberta #Quebec
