FEI World Cup Horses Arrive in Omaha, Including HH Azur, Zeremonie, and more!

The Fun Bus has arrived! And by “fun bus”, we obviously mean theĀ 777 Boeings bringing in horses from Europe and Florida over the weekend and this morning for the FEI World Cup Finals in Omaha!

The European horses shipped to Amsterdam where they caught an 11 hour ride west to Omaha, courtesy of the Dutta Corporation, an equine air transit logistics company, and Qatar Airlines, who owns the plane. The passenger list included 24 show jumpers and 13 dressage horses.

The American horses flew in just this morning from Florida, and include the likes of Mclain Ward’s HH Azur, Audrey Coulter’s Alex, Laura Kraut’s Zeremonie, and not to be omitted, Dressage star Laura Graves’ Verdades.

The CenturyLink Center in Omaha is just finishing up the final touches to the venue, such as spreading the footing, setting up warm-up areas, and training volunteers.

But the barn area is complete and looking spiffy! Here is a shot of World Cup Rookie Olivier Robert’s mare Quenelle du Py taking in the sights from her stall for the week!

The action will be underway soon, so keep it locked on JN for live class updates, insider tours, interviews, and many more World Cup Final rookie profiles!

Go Jumping.
