We are back live at the Hampton Classic with the second group of Leadline in the Grand Prix ring.

The Hampton Classic Horse Show knows how to start their show week off with a bang: with the leadline class, of course!
The show will run until September 3 in six beautiful rings in the ritzy Hamptons Neighborhood of Long Island, but with leadline out of the way, it’s pretty much all downhill from here. (I mean, we’ve still got a Grand Prix or two to enjoy, but whatever.)
Nearly 100 entries took part in the two leadline divisions with four splits apiece (ages 2-4 and 5-8) and tiny participants got the chance to be judged by legendary Olympian himself, Joe Fargis. We don’t envy his position, but he somehow managed to choose a winner in each of the eight divisions.

- This Is Ryder! Her pony’s name is Blackie. Ryder informed us that her favorite color is purple and her favorite thing is to trot on her pony. PC: HCHS

- Here is another one of our winners today, Ms. Brynn and her pony Baby Blue! She said in order to prepare for her class she practiced keeping her heels down and put a quarter in her boot for good luck! PC: HCHS

- This is Olivia and her pony Phantom! Her favorite color is green and she said that she had a pep talk with her pony this morning in anticipation for the class! PC: HCHS

- This is the overall Grand Chamion of the 2-4 age division for leadline. Her name is Victoria and she is holding her prize fro winning today. She says that she loves her pony Buttons and that she gives the best kisses because Button’s nose is always itchy! PC: HCHS

- This is Julliette, She Is 7 years od and her Pony’s name is JuJu! She considers JuJu her best friend and to get ready for her big class this morning she ate peanut butter toast and sang and danced to Bruno Mars! PC: HCHS

- This is Ms. Kara and her pony PJ! To get ready for her class today she got a good nights sleep and made sure she got dressed in her special pink shirt and braids! PC: HCHS
