McLain Ward scored a win in the $130,000 Grand Prix at Old Salem Farm on a new young mare, about whom he says “I hope to have another really nice grand prix horse next year.” Because apparently this year they’re still just pretend winning 6-digit classes. No big deal.
Beezie Madden was riding at the Royal Windsor Horse Show in England earlier in the month, and has since returned to snuggle with their homebred yearlings that are so cute and full of potential to rule the earth we could just DIE.
Georgina Bloomberg was in Madrid as part of the Longines Global Champions Tour and League, where she threw down some gauntlet rides as part of the Shanghai Swans! If you haven’t yet gotten addicted to the Global Champions League, you are missing out and must leave the cool table.
Oh and heyyyy, Laura Kraut was on the Global Champions Tour as well, where she soundly defeated a crew of the best of riders and horses in the world with Rome Gladiator Teammate Laura Renwick. The Lauras won the Madrid Round of the League which launched them to 4th place in the standings.
