North American League Announces 2018 Year-End Division Winners

The North American League (NAL) has concluded its 2017-18 season and announced the winners of its five divisions.
The NAL qualifying season runs from September 1 through August 31. NAL qualifying classes are open to all competitors but only current members are awarded points. By joining the NAL, riders can accumulate the points necessary to qualify for National Finals held at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, PA, October 11-20, and West Finals held at the International Jumping Festival hosted by Blenheim EquiSports in San Juan Capistrano, CA, September 19-23. Annual memberships are only $40 per rider.
The winners of the five divisions in the 2018 NAL National standings are:
  •  Lindsey Tomeu of Wellington, FL, and Gold Lux in the Adult Jumper Division Presented by SmartPak with 6,802 points.
  •  Grace Debney of Hamden, MA, and Byolga in the Children’s Jumper Division Presented by EquiFit with 4,391 points.
  •  Alexandra Welles of Wellington, FL, and XM in the Low Junior/Amateur Jumper Division Presented by HorseFlight with 7,016 points.
  •  Alex Johnson of Portsmouth, VA, and Poetic Justis in the Adult Hunter Division with 4,455 points.
  •  Jordan Bell of Friendship, MD, and Chago in the NAL Children’s Hunter Division with 4,411 points.

 

 The winners of the five divisions in the 2018 NAL West Coast standings are:
  •  Elizabeth Brock of Milwaukee, WI, and Ensor Van Het Moleneind in the Adult Jumper Division Presented by SmartPak with 1,435 points.
  •  Erin Floyd of Austin, TX,and Russell in the Children’s Jumper Division Presented by EquiFit with 1,891 points.
  •  Ashely Vogel of Mequon, WI, and Twists Des Forets in the Low Junior/Amateur Jumper Division Presented by HorseFlight with 1,967 points.
  •  Cathy Morris Schmitt of Greenwood Village, CO, and Andover in the Adult Hunter Division with 3,270 points.
  •  Marina Boudreau of Calabasas, CA, and Chantilly in the Children’s Hunter Division with 1,290 points.
