Scott Brash announced earlier this week that his longtime mount Hello Guv’nor has been sold to Emma Heise, a 17-year-old show jumper from Illinois who trains with Laura Kraut and Nick Skelton.

“We would like to wish Emma Heise all the luck and success with her new horse Hello Guv’nor,” Scott said on his Facebook page.  “He has been an incredible horse a yard favourite for us all and will be very much missed.”

The young woman has an impressive string of horses, and an equally impressive show record for her young age, with an FEI show record going back to 2014. She’s been very successful in the U25 division as well as playing against the big dogs on the Global Champions Tour.

Scott and Hello Guv’nor have had a long and illustrious partnership together since 2014, winning the Mercedes Benz Grand Prix at Aachen just this past year as well as a big class at the CSI5* in St. Moritz. The two have been in the top ten at the CSI5* level 25 times in the course of their partnership, and competed together on numerous legs of the Global Champions Tour.

Prior to being in Scott’s yard, the Belgian Warmblood was the ride of Irish show jumper Hayley Dunn. He was purchased for Scott by Lord & Lady Harris & Lord & Lady Kirkham.

As Emma spends her winters in Wellington with Laura and Nick, we can expect to see the pair in action soon!
