“She’s fast,” said the announcer as Margie Engle zipped her way around the course of the $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* on the final Saturday of WEF. This was a big day for Margie, not only because she was competing for one of the largest purses at WEF but because it was also her 60th birthday.
She sailed into the course with ease and her mount, Royce, was jumping with style. Despite a small bobble after the double, Margie found her way back to her plan and kept on trucking. The time to beat was 42 seconds… could she recover after her hiccup by the Rolex clock?
This weekend birthday girl Margie Goldstein Engle and Royce won the $500,000 Rolex Grand Prix CSI5* at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, posting a jump-off time over 3 seconds faster than the other competitors in the 6 horse jump-off!! #MotivationMonday 🎉
