The AIG $1,000,000 Grand Prix at HITS Coachella this weekend was an event you didn’t want to miss. With top notch competition, a beautifully designed course by Mark McGowan, and some of the most insanely talented horses in the country, the competition promised to be sensational.
The silence was barley broken by the clicks of cameras and occasional whistles from spectators as Nayal Nassar and longtime partner, Lordan, expertly navigated the course. The venue was over crowded with onlookers and everyone was on pins and needles as they waited to see who of the six pairs clear for the jump off would take home the grand prize.

As the duo soared over the last fence the crowd erupted into cheers over what the announcer called a true Cinderella ending. The pair rounded the arena for their victory gallop and it was as if Lordan knew he was the champion. He cantered around with pride and composure as Nayal fist bumped and waved to the crowd.
