The evening at Jumping Antwerp ended with a CSI5* class. There were 13 combinations in the jump-off. For a long while it looked like the Italian Piergiorgio Bucci was going to take the victory but the American Kent Farrington beat him to it. He came into the arena with Sherkan d’Aumry (by Kannan) and went through the finish in 32.91 seconds.

Bucci was a few hundredth of seconds slower with 33.11 seconds. He rode Casallo Z, a stallion by Casall. On the third place came the French rider Penelope Leprevost with her horse Vagabond de la Pomme (by Viso d’Arsouilles). She rode a clear jump-off and crossed the finish line in 33.80 seconds.

On the fourth place came the Swiss rider Romain Duguet. He had under his saddle Tipsy du Terral (by Toulon) and stopped the chrono in 33.94 seconds. The top five was completed by the Belgian rider Pieter Devos. He rode Claire Z (by Clearway) around the jump-off in 34.18 seconds.
