Since 2015, the Split Rock Jumping Tour has been revolutionizing the sport of show jumping in the United States, creating an “unparalleled show jumping experience” for competitors, sponsors and spectators. SRJT has hosted some of the sport’s top competitors and provides each with amenities typically not found at any other horse show. Continuing to build on this success, Split Rock founder and CEO, Derek Braun, has taken the Tour on the road to new facilities and locations ideal for showcasing all SRJT has to offer.
2018 Split Rock Jumping Tour Dates and Locations:
April 26-29 Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, KY CSI 3*
May 23-27 Split Rock Farm, Lexington, KY CSI 2*
September 5-9 Sonoma Horse Park, Sonoma, CA CSI 2*
September 26-30 Brave Horse Show Park, Columbus, OH CSI 2*
October 3-7 Brave Horse Show Park, Columbus, OH CSI 3*
Last year, the Split Rock Jumping Tour added to its traditional classes at Split Rock Farm in Kentucky and moved the fall portion of its FEI show jumping series from Lexington to Brave Horse Show Park, a spectacular new horse show facility in Columbus, Ohio. This year, the SRJT event at Brave Horse has been selected as one of just 14 events in the Longines FEI World Cup North American League that will help determine which North American riders will qualify to go to the 2019 Longines FEI World Cup Finals in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Also new this year, Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI) has partnered with the Split Rock Jumping Tour to produce a $225,000 CSI3* Invitational in Rolex Stadium at the Kentucky Horse Park on April 28 during the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event. In addition, SRJT will be producing a CSI2* event at the Sonoma Horse Park, September 5-9.
“Being chosen by the FEI to host a Longines FEI World Cup™ Qualifier proves the caliber of the shows we offer,” said Braun. “This is one more indication of the leadership role we are taking in shaping the way show jumping is presented in the U.S.”
