Riders went head-to-head for the blue ribbon in the Grand Prix Ring during the $15,000 UltrOZ™ Jumper class. Nineteen navigated the course of 14 fences designed by Olaf Petersen, Jr. of Muenchen, Germany. Seven of the group advanced to the shortened jump-off to vie for first-place.
Jill Prieto of Petaluma, California, and Carlton Cafe, owned by Freestyling Farms, LLC, emerged victorious after a clear, cool finish to take home the blue and the $4,500 prize. They crossed the timers fault-free in a speedy 39.114 seconds to secure the win.
Second-place belonged to Susan Hutchison and SIG Firecracker, owned by SIG International, Inc. The clear, 40.145 finish landed the equestrian from Temecula, California, her third top-three finish of the week, after winning first- and second-place in the $5,000 Brook Ledge Open Welcome on Wednesday.
Third in the ribbons was Laura Hite on her own Solos Consept. Hite, of Coto de Caza, California, finished the 1.45 meter course fault-free in 43.409, and for her efforts, received a $2,250 prize.
Fourth-place went to Kristin Hardin of New Cuyama, California, and Bert, owned by Emily Cohodes. Hardin and Bert had a rail down at the first vertical of the mid-course combination; they crossed the timers in 37.621 with four faults.
Lindsay Archer and Camerone, owned by RHYS Farms, LLC, finished fifth. The equestrian from Alamo, California, finished in 38.403 with four jumping faults.

$10,000 Jr/A-O Jumper Classic
Jumpers tested the challenging 15-fence course for a shot at $10,000 in prize money in the Jr/A-O Jumper Classic on Sunday. The 1.45 meter course had a few particularly difficult spots; a big oxer at the fourth fence leading to a triple combination mid-course, resulted in jumping faults for many competitors. The first rider of the first round would be the only one to go clear to claim the blue ribbon and the $3,000 prize.
Setting the tone for the class, and first to enter the ring was winner, Morgan Garnett of Hillborough, California, on Kenavo de Brekka, owned by Garnett farms. They would be the only horse and rider to conquer the course fault-free, with a time of 82.106 seconds.
Saree Kayne secured second- and third-place. Kayne piloted W Zermie 13, owned by Woodacres Stables, LLC, to the second place finish, crossing the timers in 86.870, earning one time fault. The equestrian from Santa Monica, California, rode Rexar Du Houssoit, also owned by Woodacres Stables, to third-place with a time of 86.905 seconds, finishing with four jumping faults and one time fault. For her efforts she received a $2,000 prize and a $1,400 prize, respectfully.
In fourth-place was Vani Khosla of Portola Valley, California, and Dynamo. Khosla and Dynamo passed the timers in 90.332 seconds, resulting in five time faults, to earn $1,000 for the placing.
Nicolette Hirt of Alamo, California, finished in fifth-place with her own Hot Blooded. They clocked in at 82.966 seconds with eight jumping faults.
