USEF Network has kindly shared the winning rounds from all the National Championship hunter classes at the Brandywine Horse Show in Devon, PA, and you can watch all the winning rounds here! (Note – Must be logged into Facebook to view the videos.)
First up is the US Hunter Junior National Championship – East Coast winner, Maya Nayyar riding not her own mount, but fellow competitor Emma Kurtz’s mount Clearway, owned by Betsee Parker. As we reported in yesterday’s write-up, for the final round the judges called back four riders for a final test, and they were asked to swap horses.
While all the riders missed a small element of the test (as you’ll hear on the video, Maya missed the sitting trot at the end) she was the only rider to take the long approach on the final fence, confirming her victory.
