Which option is actually scarier for a father?
In honor of the approaching paternal holiday, we’d like to take a moment and talk dads. We promise we’re not going to drag out those tired old tropes about dads funding their children’s expensive horse habit and writing checks and blah blah blah.
We will, however, take a moment to acknowledge another apparently commonly-held belief: according to many young dads of daughters that I know, they’re already fearing the day their little girls grow up and start getting interested in boys.
Perhaps this video from Just Horse Riders asking a series of tweens “horses or boys?” will reassure them. And encourage them all to sign up their daughters for riding lessons as soon as humanly possible.
There, dads — does that make you all feel a bit better? (Just remember not to ask your wife a question you don’t want the answer to.)
