The 2018 ESP Fall I saw Bruno Martins Costa of Wellington, FL, and the Bonne Chance Farms LLC owned entry Everest, scoop up the victory in the ESP $10,000 Open Stake. The class welcomed twenty-five horse and rider pairs, and five returned to complete the Andy Christiansen designed fast track. Martins Costa and Everest claimed top honors, stopping the timers at 52.295 seconds and with one added fault.
Naples, FL, resident, Kris Killam, and Boreale De Talma owned by Empire Show Stables, took the second-place title finishing with a time of 41.53 seconds and eight added faults. Selcuk Koksalan of Wellington, FL, and his own Carla, claimed third place with a time of 43.579 seconds and eight added faults.
Valentina Arenas of Guatemala, FL, and Temprist, owned by Enrique Arenas, topped the M&S Child/Adult Jumper Classic sponsored by Dover Saddlery, with a winning jump off time of 35.445 seconds. Eileen O’Leary of Monte Verde, FL, took second place aboard her own Bahama Boy, finishing on a time of 37.617 seconds and four added faults. Hunter Kava of Parkland, FL, and Miss Moneypenny, owned by Andrew Kocher, claimed third place, stopping the timers at 42.18 seconds and four added faults.
We also saw O’Leary and Bahama Boy claim top honors in the $1,500 Dover Saddlery NAL Child/Adult Jumper Classic, with a time of 39.171 seconds. Emilio Mantero of Miami, FL, riding her own Ideale By Marstyl, took second place finishing on 41.184 seconds. Kava and Miss Moneypenny followed very closely in third, with a time of 41.268 seconds.
First place honors in the $250 .85m Classic was claimed by Katherine Becker of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and her mount Guiness, stopping the second-round timers at 36.222 seconds. Julia Andersen of Winter Park, FL, and her own Sharif, took second place with a jump off time of 47.728 seconds. Ava Allegre of Windemere, FL, aboard A Royal Obsession, owned by Lucille Allegre, captured third place with a first round time of 83.278 seconds and four added faults.
Mia Green of Delray Beach, FL, aboard the Forget Me Not Farm owned entry, Affier, topped the Low Child/Adult Jumper Classic with a second-round time of 33.167 seconds. Heather Wasilausky of Boynton Beach, FL, and her own Dame placed second on a time of 36.914 seconds. Alliyah Antoniadis of Middletown, NY, aboard Donadoni, owned by Forget Me Not Farms, took third place with a finishing time of 38.598 seconds.
Ansgar Holtgers Jr. of Wellington, FL, and the Gut Einhaus, LLC owned entry, Queretaro 2, took top honors in the Medium Jr/AO Jumper Stake sponsored by Equiline, stopping the jump off timers at 34.678 seconds. Rodrigo Cunha of Miami, FL, and his own Carpet captured second place with a time of 41.597 seconds. Lukene Arenas of Guatemala, FL, and his mount Icarus Van De Kalevallei finished third place with a time of 34.871 seconds.
The Low Jr/AO Jumper Stake sponsored by Equiline was topped by Robyn Hannigan of Celebration, FL, and her own Copacabana, being the only pair to contest the second round and finishing double clear with a time of 34.487 seconds. Madelyn Ruskin of Coconut Creek, FL, and the Pine Hollow Farm owned entry, Abazu BSM, took second place with a time of 72.46 seconds and four added faults. Rafael Contreras of Wellington, FL, and his own Caribi claimed third place honors on a time of 72.93 seconds and four added faults.
