Mario Soto is a Sport Psychology Consultant with an extensive background in performance sports such as basketball, baseball, martial arts (3rd degree in Shaolin Kempo Karate) as well as being a professional working actor for ten years earning his union status in all three guilds (SAG, AEA, and AFTRA).  He has coached, played, or worked at the youth, high school and collegiate level (locally & internationally) and holds a master’s degree in Sport & Performance Psychology Consulting from California State University Fullerton under the tutelage of the some of the most well respected Sport Psychology consultants in the world.

Will Simpson made his mark on the sport early in his career by setting an outdoor high-jump record of 7 feet, 9 inches on Jolly Good in 1985 in Cincinnati. In 2002, he won the West Coast League with a score of 91 — third highest total in the league’s history — out of a maximum 100. He won the Del Mar International Grand Prix four straight years, captured the 2006 CANA Cup, the 2007 Ariat Grand Prix and has represented the United States five times in World Cup Finals.

In 2008, along with winning numerous Grand Prix’s, Simpson again made the history books by winning the Olympic Show Jumping Team Gold Medal riding Carlsson vom Dach.

Julie Winkel is one of the first United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) Certified Trainers, a USHJA Emerging Athlete Program Talent Scout and Clinician, a United States Equestrian Federation R-rated judge, as well as a Canadian Equestrian Federation judge.

Julie has trained and shown hunters and jumpers to the top levels, nationally and internationally. She has many Grand Prix show jumping wins as well as hunter championships throughout her career. Julie owns and operates Maplewood Stables, Inc., in Reno, Nevada. Maplewood is a 150-acre training, sales and breeding facility. Maplewood stands two stallions, Grand Prix jumpers-Osilvis and Cartouche Z.

Frank Madden stands out as one of the most successful and dedicated trainers of young and developing show jumping talent in the United States. He has trained several of the most promising junior equitation and junior amateur jumper riders who have the potential to represent the United States at the highest levels of international competition.

Madden’s efforts have been recognized in various awards and honors such as the prestigious “Developmental Coach of the Year” award from the United States Olympic Committee and designation as “Show Hunter Horseman of the Year for 2005” by The Chronicle of the Horse.
