It was an honor for Jumper Nation to sponsor an Adult Amateur Award at Washington International Horse Show Tuesday, which was given to the Adult Amateur who traveled the farthest distance to attend the event in Washington, DC.
The Winner is Emily Goldberg, who traveled 2,673 miles from Bell Canyon, CA to show her two horses Sinatra and Sambuca. That definitely qualifies as a Road Warrior in our book! Emily is competing in the Younger A/O Hunters, and trains with Victoria Lacagnina of Storia Stables in Santa Susana, CA.
“This was my first time at WIHS and the first time for both the horses. They both have been so great and it is really cool to be here. I love cities and combining that with horse showing is something we don’t get in California. I love the atmosphere!”
From all of us at Jumper Nation, congratulations on making it this far Emily, and we wish you the best of luck at WIHS!
Go Jumping.
