Though I’m hundreds of miles from the iconic blue and white tents in Thermal, some part of my soul stirs at the very idea of the desert awakening to the rumble of approaching rigs, the delicate warmbloods dancing off the loading ramp, the sweet hum of a motorcade of electric golf carts cruising from tent to ring.
I just feel better when HITS Coachella starts – whether I’m there or not, it’s my happy place.
