It’s Wednesday, but in the lead-up to a three day weekend, it kind of feels like Extra, EXTRA Long Monday. The cure? Livestream the fanciest, ritziest, pearls-at-a-horse-show event on the eastern seaboard: The Hampton Classic Horse Show! It’s everything you love about a Grand Prix, with a side of black caviar and a sea breeze.
Also, we have it on good authority that Mclain Ward, Beezie Madden, Tori Colvin, Margie Engle, Jessica Springsteen and Shane Sweetnam are all on hand for this magnificent week of showing! (We also hear that regular celebrities usually attend this thing, like Billy Joel, Matt Lauer and the Olsen Twins – Maybe NYC transplant Taylor Swift will show up, too!)
In addition to the Grand Prix classes. they also have loads of Equitation and junior jumper classes for the up and coming youth stars of our sport like Lucy Deslauriers, Mckayla Langmeier, Eve Jobs, Madison Goetzmann, Maya Nayyar, Daisy Farrish and Sophie Simpson, Mimi Gochman, and Emma Kurtz.
