Preparations for the 2020 Split Rock Jumping Tour are continuing as planned. Split Rock is closely monitoring the Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic but remains hopeful of being able to proceed with the Tour’s first event at the Kentucky Horse Park in late May.
Derek Braun, Split Rock Jumping Tour founder and CEO, said, “This is a trying time for all of us and naturally the safety and welfare of our competitors, sponsors, vendors, spectators and staff is of utmost importance. We take this crisis very seriously but are hopeful that the situation will improve in the spring and that we will be able to proceed with our shows as planned. We will continue to follow government and USEF protocols, and while recognizing that anything can change, we are proceeding with plans for our event at the Kentucky Horse Park in May and for all of our events for the rest of the year.”
Entries are now open for the Lexington International CSI2*. The world-class event offers classes in every division from .85m on up, highlighted by a $75,000 FEI Grand Prix 1.45m. It will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, on May 20-24.
Now in its sixth year, the SRJT has been revolutionizing the way the sport of show jumping is presented in the U.S. and has been creating a truly “unparalleled show jumping experience” for competitors, sponsors and spectators alike. Competing in the SRJT is unlike any other American horse show experience. SRJT competitions offer top prize money, extravagant awards, special entry packages, and numerous first-class amenities not typically found at any other horse show.
The 2020 Split Rock Jumping Tour is presenting six world-class FEI shows at six outstanding venues.
