Three legs of the Longines Masters Series just wasn’t enough for fans and EEM, the host of the series, responded by adding a fourth stop to the tour this year in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Lausanne stop follows the Paris (November 29-December 2, 2018), Hong Kong (February 15-17, 2019) and New York (April 25-28, 2019) legs of the series. Many of the world’s best show jumpers will gather in Switzerland this June 20-23 to compete at the inaugural competition held at Place Bellerive.
The Longines Masters series kicked off last fall in Paris where Edwina Tops-Alexander became the first Australian rider and second female rider to triumph in France. In Hong Kong it was Ireland’s Denis Lynch who rose to the top of the leaderboard by just fractions of a second. Competition is always tough at the Longines Masters, but what do you expect when riders like Beezie Madden, Olivier Philippaerts, Bertram Allen and Scott Brash are on the start list?
New York is the next stop of the tour in April, with the Longines Grand Prix scheduled for Sunday the 28th at 3:00PM.
