Despite having to delay some portions of competition by a day due to poor weather thanks to Hurricane Florence, the World Equestrian Games are still in full swing at the Tryon International Equestrian Center. Eventing wrapped up yesterday and the United States currently holds a gold medal, three silvers and a bronze between reining and dressage.
This week we will see vaulters, para dressage riders, drivers and of course, our favorite, the showjumpers. Showjumping kicks off today with a speed class as a bit of a warm-up, but official medal competition begins tomorrow with the first round of the team and individual competition starting at 9:00AM. The full schedule for the week is pictured below.
All of the US horses are nestled in at the TIEC and have passed the first horse inspection with flying colors. The US lineup includes Laura Kraut and Zeremonie, Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue, Adrienne Sternlicht and Cristalline and McLain Ward with Clinta. Serving as the reserve for this years WEG is Beezie Madden with Darry Lou.

Contribute™
The horse that matters to you matters to Kentucky Performance Products, that is why you can count on them to provide supplements that meet the challenges facing your horse.
Fight back against damaging inflammation
Horses evolved to exist on a grass-based diet high in omega-3 fatty acids and low in omega-6 fatty acids. Modern diets tend to include ingredients that are high in omega-6 and low in omega-3 fatty acids, throwing the critical 6 to 3 ratio out of whack and leading to health problems related to runaway inflammation. Supplementing with the high-quality omega-3 fatty acids in Contribute brings that ratio back into balance and supports reduced levels of damaging inflammation.
Contribute offers you an affordable way to include both beneficial plant (alpha-linolenic acid) and marine sources (EPA and DHA) of omega-3 fatty acids into the diet. The horse that matters to you matters to us®.
