Updates from the Pennsylvania National Horse Show

The Pennsylvania National Horse Show is scheduled to run October 10-17, 2020.  On April 13, management released a letter to competitors, supporters, and others looking forward to the show with updates.

While on the job in our “new” home offices, we are hard at work planning the 75th Pennsylvania National Horse Show, scheduled for October 8 through 17th, 2020.

Because of the many revisions to ALL of our lives and jobs from the recent pandemic, here are a few answers to some questions you may have about PNHS.

When will the prize list be issued? We are on schedule to publish the Prize List by July 1st – its normal publication date. It will be posted on our website at that time. We will have a small, limited amount of hard-copies available.

Will the qualifying procedures change?  As a US Equestrian Federation (USEF) licensed competition, PNHS will follow the rules and schedule set forth by the USEF. At this time, all USEF licensed competitions are suspended through May 3, 2020. Here is a helpful link for the latest updates from USEF.

Will we need any special health requirements for our horses?  At this time, there will be no additional or modified requirements. Unless otherwise noted, we will follow a similar protocol as we had in 2019.

Will vendors still be attending? ABSOLUTELY! We encourage any and all Vendors to take part in our historic Show! To support our Vendors during this complex time, we have extended the dates for deposits to July 1st. However, we encourage contracts to be submitted as soon as possible. First time vendors may submit an Application, available here.

Are you hosting a silent auction this year? YES! We’re currently accepting donations of ALL types! Items, Services, Gift Certificates – the sky’s the limit! Contact Christa at Christa@PAnational.org or download the Donation Form here.

Although our lives have changed dramatically, we all hope and pray that things will return to normal by October and that our equestrian family will be together again at “Harrisburg!”
