Let the USHJA Help You Reach Your Higher Education Goals

According to the National Center for Education Statistics, for the 2015-16 academic year, “the average annual price for undergraduate tuition, fees, room, and board was $16,757 at public institutions, $43,065 at private nonprofit institutions, and $23,776 at private for-profit institutions.” The USHJA provides multiple avenues for supporting members in the pursuit of their higher education goals.
If you are in college, graduate, professional, or trade school this fall (no matter what year) and have been a USHJA member for three consecutive years, you need to drop everything and apply for the $25,000 USHJA Foundation Hamel Scholarship for Further Education by May 15.
Additionally your zone may offer a scholarship or academic grant. Be sure to check those offerings at ushja.org/zones, select your zone from the map, and then choose Grants & Scholarships.
