Grace Tuton and Nicodemus Farms’ Sorbet were right in the thick of it all week at the USEF Junior Hunter National Championship – West, and we simply couldn’t walk away without sharing one of their beautiful rounds with you.
They were third overall in the Championship, and finished in the top three consistently all weekend. They claimed the title of overall Highest Mare, won the Small Junior Hunters 16-17 Over Fences, second in the under saddle, third in the Handy Hunter, and runners up overall in the Small Junior Hunters.
The twelve-year-old German Sport Horse who goes by ‘Soba’ at home (Chello II x Kaiserin) is a sweet little pocket gray at 15.3 hands, but she is a rocket over fences. Grace is based on the west coast, but recently made the trek to Devon with Sorbet, where they gave the national scene an unquestionable run for their money, earning a reserve championship in their division.
Grace trains with Sherry Templin in Scottsdale, Arizona. Congratulations to this formidable pair, and we’re excited to see where you go next!
