Alberto Zorzi has been tearing up the turf all year long in the Longines Global Champions Tour, but now that the season is over he is continuing his winning ways at other venues. Zorzi and his spunky mare Ulane de Coquerie recently claimed the victory in the Turkish Airlines Olympia Grand Prix at Olympia, The London International Horse Show in London.
This is Zorzi’s second consecutive year winning this class, but it was no easy feat. The track was challenging with tons of tight twists and turns to throw each rider off of their game. Zorzi wasn’t worried, however. “I know my horse is very fast,” he shared in an interview immediately after his win, “So I trust her and I go with her.” That partnership paid off last week as the pair conquered all with a blazing fast round.
