WATCH: McLain Ward Wins Again & Again at the Royal Horse Show

Why win once when you can win twice? McLain Ward is known for winning all the things and he kept up that tradition at the Royal Horse Show in Toronto, Canada last week. The US showjumping legend claimed the win in Friday night’s $50,000 Weston Canadian Open class with Tradition de la Roque and followed up that win with another victory on Saturday in the $205,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Toronto riding HH GiGi’s Girl.

Friday night’s class required riders to be a master of speed and Ward wasn’t afraid to turn it on for the crowd. Watch as he and Tradition blaze through the course to top the field with a time of 62.71 seconds.

But Ward had his eyes on the biggest prize of the weekend: the $205,000 Longines FE Jumping World Cup Toronto class on Saturday evening. With twenty-one talented entries on the docket Ward definitely had his work cut out for him. He and HH Gigi’s Girl didn’t let that bother them, however, and came in a whole second and a half faster than runner up, Devin Ryan.
