The Hickstead Derby is EASILY one of the most challenging showjumping classes offered in this day and age. Professionals have contested this massive course for the entire lengths of their careers, only to be shaken by the great bank or giant obstacles. But this past weekend Ireland’s Michael Pender became the youngest rider ever to claim the victory in this intimidating class. Despite being just 19 years old, Pender rose to the top of a challenging field with Hearton Du Bois Halleux. Watch his winning round below!
