Get the Look: Kama Godek’s Blue Charles Ancona Jacket

The Washington International Horse Show was sensory overload. So many stars, so many epic championship showdowns, so. many. ponies. Even still, we could not take our eyes off of Kama Godek, an FEI show jumper based in Leesburg, Virginia with stints in Germany and Wellington each year.

She absolutely stunned in the puissance class, first by jumping out of her skin and ultimately placing fourth, and secondly because her look in the ring was on point.

We were able to ask Kama who makes her pristine and enviable jacket, and she informs us it’s a custom design by Charles Ancona. She also tells us it is “super comfortable!”

Charles Ancona show jackets are made in the New York City garment district using Italian fabrics with an appropriate amount of stretch while still looking like a high performance look. Even though they are high-end custom jackets, they’re entirely machine washable, water repellant, and lightweight.

In addition to Kama’s power-look, you may have also seen CA jackets on the likes of Jimmy Torano, Margie Engle, and young riders Gia Rinaldi and Daisy Farrish.

There are thousands of possible combinations of color, stitching, collars and pockets, among other options. You can explore all the options on their site, but be warned: the online jacket building tool is addictive and can lead to buying yourself a new jacket.

As to how to replicate her costume class look, you’re on your own.
