5 Fall Fashion Temptations from Horseware We Must Have

In my neck of the woods, we went from scorching late summer temps to dastardly deep fall chill literally overnight with a massive storm system, and it now seems that fall is here to stay. While I’m not terribly fond of the puddles, I can’t say I mind the nip in the air.

I always use that first big weather change as a catalyst for some closet overhaul as I box up summer for storage and air out the vacuum-packed bags full of vests, coats, sweaters, and fleece-lined breeches. Storing my winter gear is a great way of tricking my brain into believing that I just went shopping and got a box full of screaming deals, which is my second-favorite kind of adrenaline. (Jumping things on horses is obviously the first favorite.)

But a few actual additions to the fall collection are always a nice bonus, too. Especially when they’re from a company like Horseware Ireland that you can feel really good about supporting. (Locally made in their home town in Ireland? Environmentally friendly? Nice folks? Yes, you may take all my money.)

Here are five Horseware ladies treasures we’re swooning over:

Ladies Denim Breeches K/P – $135

There’s a color for everyone in this group, from classic denim blue to a rich, bright berry, and we want them all. Featuring 4-way stretch for absolute mobility and comfort, the patented Daewoo Seat, and super darling jean-style detailing, these britches are must-haves.

Iris Zip Top – $80

This super trendy and snug zip top is the perfect marriage of crossover styling that works for home, school, barn, and back again. The old-school sports vibe is on point, but the silhouette won’t have your trainer up in arms that they can’t see your posture. A perfect everyday layer for the barn and beyond.

Ida High Neck Zip Top – $65

If you plan on doing any clinics this winter, this fine little zip number is a must-have. The shape, styling and colors all scream professional and put-together, but the mid-layer warmth will keep you toasty in and out of the saddle.

The design also cleverly features hidden pockets, elasticated cuffs and hem, and thoughtful shaping to show off your best self. Also a great price for an item like this.

Rambo Original Turnout Boot (short) – $137

These boots are errthing, girl. Wildly practical, rugged and sophisticated, completely unique in a sea of boring short boots, and useful in any number of barn or fashion scenarios. They’re waterproof lined, have a grippy sole, and are easy to slip on with a top zipper and elastic side panels.

I need them, I want them, and I’m getting them.

Long Sleeve Knit Top – $75

Another item that would slay in a fall/winter clinic or schooling show, this striped top in fall’s trendsetting colors is entirely flattering, delicately sophisticated, and sets you apart from the crowd. It’s a perfect base layer (think how cute it would look with a vest!) and also cozy on its own.

Multicolors also mean it will pair well with a lot of different colors when matching to breeches, vests, and horses, so you’ll get plenty of use out of it (especially since horseware products are made to last.)

Here’s our own little #ROOTD from this collection, plus a One K glitter helmet thrown in for good measure, because, you know, glitter helmet.
