There’s more beautiful content coming out of a week at the Washington International than we could ever possibly get through in a few days, so we’re going to keep the good times rolling just a little while longer!
One fun tidbit you simply can’t miss: This terrific interview with Olympic Team Gold Medalist and all-around classy dame Laura Kraut, who talks with the WIHS media team about qualifiying for the World Cup, her blossoming partnership with Confu, and what it’s like to show in downtown D.C.
U.S. Olympic team gold medalist Laura Kraut is taking aim at the #FEIWorldCup Final in Paris and will ride in her first qualifier of the season tonight in the #Longines FEI World Cup Jumping Washington, presented by Events DC. We caught up with Laura while at #WIHS2017 to talk #horsesinthecity, her horse Confu, and more.#RidetoParis #Longines

Confu is worthy of hours of footage with all that he’s accomplished in his nine young years, particularly in this season’s Nations Cups: Their performances helped the United States claim the gold medal in Dublin and also the silver medal in the FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona.
As for this past weekend, Laura and Confu are still adjusting to the tight quarters of the indoors and had an unlucky couple of rails in the World Cup Qualifier, but there’s still plenty of time to make magic happen.
Make sure you’re following Laura Kraut on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with her and all her charming ponies, and Go Jumping!
