Sometimes, you watch a horse and rider pair who just click, whether they’re at home or in the show ring. It doesn’t matter if they’re doing hunters, jumpers, or eq. They go out there and get the job done. It’s amazing to witness when this happens; when you can see the horse tune in to the rider and say, “Everything’s on the line? We’re last to go? Game on.”
I can see Farrel, Daniel Coyle’s mount, thinking just that as they blaze around this tight course. Hold on to your seats as Daniel Coyle and Farrel turn on the speed to the $100,000 Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Ocala at Live Oak International, which took place on March 8, 2020.
Go Jumping!
