The Spruce Meadows Masters Show Jumping Tournament is regretfully canceled this year due to COVID-19 and management’s commitment to competitor and spectator safety. Truly, Spruce Meadows and its challenging courses brings out some of the toughest and grittiest competition, with its tricky Devil’s Dyke and giant bank – among other obstacles. Hickstead, Eric Lamaze’s brilliant stallion who many of us miss to this day (RIP), pulled out all the stops many times at Spruce Meadows. Watch Eric Lamaze and Hickstead gallop on to win the CN International at the Masters in 2007 — the crowd goes wild!
Go Jumping! We love and miss you, Hickstead!
