For the Love of the Horse airs on Sunday evenings live, and the webinars are interactive. Each week, a new industry expert presents on a hot topic. We’ve called attention to a few select topics, such as stifle health, as the webinars have aired.
Now, For the Love of the Horse has launched a new website with a full on demand webinar library. If you can’t make the live Sunday evening sessions, you’ll receive an email link after you register to view the recording — BUT if you forget to register, or are just checking by mid-week for some further learning, you’ll be able to take care of your needs at the site and view past sessions.
Presenters include:
- Dr. Rick Mitchell (six-time Olympic Games attending veterinarian for the US Equestrian team)
- Dr. Kent Allen (owner of Virginia Imaging, the first privately owned and operated equine diagnostic specialty imaging clinic in the world)
- Dr. Raul Bras (journeyman farrier and veterinarian inducted into the International Equine Veterinarian Hall of Fame)
- Many more!
Previous sessions topics have included:
- Back issues in performance horses
- Stifle issues and rehabilitation
- Impact of DNA on performance horses
- Tendon issues in performance horses
- Laminitis and its prevention
- Nutritional value of hay
- Ridden lameness exams
- More are to follow!
