Hunter derbies are something that I’ve always wanted to try but never have had the opportunity to do so.Β I have a ton of respect for those who compete in hunter derbies — not only do you have to navigate a course with some pretty huge jumps (with high options), but the course is handy and bendy like a jumper round.Β AND on top of everything else, you need to do it with style — you with your turnout and your horse with his or her jump and way of going.
