Postcard from Fox Lea Farm HOTY Zone 4: Grand Prix

Rider, writer, AND photographer Dominque Gonzalez was onsite to capture the Grand Prix from Fox Lea Farm’s HOTY Zone 4 Show in Venice, Florida. Out of the field of 24 horse and rider combinations, six of them were rides for Aaron Vale.  Check out the action below — and congratulations to Aaron Vale for soaring to first place with Mr. Incredible!

Aaron stated:

I love showing in Venice! It’s been an odd year as we all know. I have young horses that need experience, some older ones that need tune ups and new rides for me, so I had more than usual today! I was pleased with all of them today for what we were trying to accomplish. The first round was tricky enough. The triple got a lot of poles.  But as I said I was pleased with how my horses jumped it even the ones that were not clear. Mr. Incredible who won the class is inexperienced but has unusual levels of talent and ability. I used his extra ability to my advantage taking tighter turns in a few places and his giant stride was fast in the long gallops. It was another fun Venice and it was even better when I got to watch my daughter, Kinser, have a clear in the .65 class right after I finished the Grand Prix.
