Dashing to the barn
Praying your shoes are on tight
Crap, I forgot my yarn
And I might’ve left on the light
I hope you didn’t roll
I’m always running late
These lessons take a toll
My account will be empty at this rate

Oh what a pain, it is to ride
When you keep throwing off your shoes
A day or two ago
I noticed a missing nail
I didn’t text my farrier
And set myself up to fail
Now the duct tape is looking good
But I know that won’t really work
I guess we won’t be riding
And I think I saw you smirk
