Last week, CNN premiered a mini-interview with Laura Kraut on her “horse of a lifetime”, and as Laura said, even with all the exceptional horses she’s had the ride on, the decision was easy.
Cedric, who retired earlier this year at a strong and healthy 19, was Laura’s gold medal partner in Beijing and gateway to more than 20 FEI Grand Prix victories. Just a year ago this month, Laura and Cedric won a CSI 5* class at Rotterdom, which would prove to be one of their final performances together.
In addition, they took big wins in Wellington, The LGCT Grand Prix in Lausanne in 2012, The LGCT Grand Prix in Chantilly in 2010, and helped lead American Nations Cup teams to victories multiple times on two continents.
