After working with Eye Candy Jumpers for several years, the parties have decided to part ways as Kocher focuses on developing his own business. For Kocher, those new endeavors include focusing on preparing his young horses for the highest levels of show jumping competition.Andy Kocher on Squirt Gun representing the U.S. Show Jumping Team during the 2020 Nations Cup competition. "I am looking forward to the opportunity to take the time to produce my own horses and horses for a variety of owners, including my long-time supporters," explained Kocher. "My goal is to be building young horses for the future and that is not something I have been able to dedicate myself to lately. I have a lot of special horses with huge potential and I want to be the one to bring them along." One notable horse that Kocher has produced is Squirt Gun, who recently competed as part of the winning U.S. Show Jumping Team at the 2020 Nations Cup during the Winter Equestrian Festival where he never touched a rail. At just 9 years old, Squirt Gun is just one example of the top horses coming out of Kocher's program as the international athlete looks ahead to the future. This year, instead of having 40 or 50 horses in one stable, Kocher has chosen to expand his operation to several locations to allow focused development with the ability to sell across America and be more convenient to many potential owners. When not actively competing, Andy Kocher Show Jumpers will have horses in Kimberton, PA; Charlottesville, VA; Rochester, NY and Wellington, FL, in addition to a select group located internationally in Northern Ireland. The 2020 spring show schedule for Andy Kocher Show Jumpers will include world-class competitions such as the Kentucky Horse Show, the Devon Horse Show and the Upperville Colt and Horse Show.
