Andy Kocher Showjumpers wishes to congratulate the new owners of Coldplay 31 and Carisma II. Both talented showjumpers moved on to new homes this spring after being developed by Kocher, ranked among the top 75 riders in the world, according to the prestigious Longines Jumping Rankings.

Previously owned by Top Line Sporthorse International, the same connections of former Kocher standout Kahlua, Coldplay 31 (Cassini II x Phantom) achieved success at the top levels of the sport. With Kocher in the irons, the talented and stylish gelding earned top five placings at the inaugural CSI5* Longines Global Champions Tour of New York (USA), as well as the historic CSI4*-W Royal Winter Fair in Toronto (CAN) in 2019 and will now compete for new owners Sweet Oak Farm.
Carisma II (Contendro I x Graf) showed all the promise for top sport when she came into Kocher’s care in early 2020. The flashy 6-year-old mare will have every opportunity to meet that potential, as she will continue her development with new owner Alison Robitaille.
“We sold two top horses this month, and to great connections,” Kocher said. “Coldplay has become a proven veteran, and I’m happy to sell another talented horse for a friend and longtime supporter in Christian Rogge. Coldplay is going to build upon an already strong record.
“Carisma is a beautiful horse with an exciting future,” he continued. “I look forward to watching her climb the ranks with Alison.”

The exciting sales come on the cusp of the inaugural Andy Kocher Sport Horse Auction, the first of its kind exclusively online sport horse auction in America. The auction is set to run Wednesday, May 13 at 11:00am EST through Saturday, May 16 at 5:00pm EST.
From high performance prospects to proven competitors at all levels of the sport, the horses offered in Andy Kocher Sport Horse Auctions have been hand-selected for success, with quality and variety in mind to meet the needs of a wide variety of buyers. Each available horse has conformation and jumping photographs; a jumping video; current X-rays; and a veterinary report available to bidders for viewing. Located in Wellington, private trials can be arranged by appointment only.
A portion of proceeds from the auction will benefit the Show Jumping Relief Fund, created to help the many people in the competitive equestrian industry affected by the show closures due to COVID-19. Every horse in the auction will be outfitted with a new leather halter from Huntley Equestrian, while Rider’s Boutique will award a $100 gift card to each new owner.
“The buzz around the auction has been exciting, and it’s a really nice group of horses,” Kocher said. “There’s been a lot of interest, and I’ve made it my goal to offer bidders a lot of value. I think this is just the beginning of what we can do!”
