The following notice was released from Blenheim EquiSports on August 22.
Dear Friends,
In light of the recent notifications regarding positive COVID-19 cases of participants that attended last week’s Blenheim Summer Classic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel next week’s All Seasons Summer Classic. “Safety first” is the commitment we abide by and that has become especially critical during this pandemic. We feel we are being proactive rather than reactive, choosing to allow for a 14-day break during which time we will fully prepare the facility for our September shows. Consequently, the Sallie B. Wheeler USEF/USHJA National Hunter Breeding Championships will now be held on Friday September 18th during the International Jumping Festival.
The reality of the past few days events serves as one more reminder as to why it is imperative that everyone follows all protocols, most importantly the masking and social distancing policies. We all need to do our part moving forward!
Please follow the CDC guidelines and keep yourself and your loved ones safe. Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you back in two weeks for the Blenheim Fall Tournament and International Jumping Festival.
