The Desert International Horse Park has received tremendous support and excitement for Desert Holiday, so they’ve released a revised prize list with an updated schedule. The Desert International Horse Park is excited to announce that each week is now an ‘AA’ rated Hunter show and each will run for five days with a full set of classes/divisions for all riders.
Highlights include:
One Grand Prix each week (Week I: $40,000, Week II: $100,000, and Week III: $25,000). Week II is the finale of the West Coast Jumper Event Series conducted jointly with West Palms Events and includes a $50,000 rider bonus.
Five $2,500 USHJA National Hunter Derbies with a Professional Rider Bonus awarded to the leading money earner in derbies over the three weeks.
Young Jumper Classics during Week III in the Grand Prix arena with prize money and no entry fees!
Stall Reservations and Entries are open and due by Thursday, November 19th. We’ve made changes to the stall reservation system, so you now only reserve stall quantities through the system. Payment is no longer taken to help ease the process.
