Equestrian Sport Production Summer Series to Resume, Friday, September 22, with ESP Florida State Fall Competition Following Hurricane Irma

For Immediate Release

Wellington, FL – September 12, 2017 – Equestrian Sport Production, LLC (ESP) has announced that the 2017 ESP Summer Series will resume next week Friday, September 22, at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) with the start of ESP Florida State Fall Show, as this week’s ESP September (September 15-17) competition will not run due to recovery from Hurricane Irma in Wellington, FL.
The management team at ESP hopes that the residents of Wellington stayed safe during the storm and in light of the power outages across South Florida will resume competition at PBIEC next week.
“Thanks to hard work of our facility staff in the pre-storm preparations, both grounds faired very well during the storm with minimal damage at either property,” said David Burton, COO of Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC) and ESP Show Manager. “With the understanding that many of our customers are dealing with the aftermath, as well as those returning who evacuated the area, we will plan to resume next week with our ESP Florida State Fall competition. We sincerely hope that everyone remains safe in their recovery efforts and hope that we can all return to a normal routine next week.”
The ESP September competition was originally scheduled to begin this Friday, September 15, and continue through Sunday, September 17, at the Equestrian Village at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.
