Show jumping powerhouse nation Germany has just named their long list for the Olympic Games. There are eight combinations in the long list, of which four will make the final team.

- Marcus Ehning (Borken) with A la Carte NRW, Funky Fred and Priam du Roset
- Christian Kukuk (Riesenbeck) with Checker and Mumbai
- Patrick Stühlmeyer (Steinfeld) with Varihoka du Temple
- Maurice Tebbel (Emsbüren) with Don Diarado
- André Thieme (Plau am See) with DSP Chakaria
- Philipp Weishaupt (Riesenbeck) with Asathir and Coby
- David Will (Marburg) with C-Vier
The final selection will occur after the Rotterdam Nations Cup in July.
