Kentucky Horse Shows LLC Releases Statement Regarding COVID-19 and Kentucky Spring Horse Shows Series

Responding to the rapidly evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, an increasing number of event cancellations, and guidance issued by USEF, USHJA, FEI and the Kentucky Horse Park, Kentucky Horse Shows LLC has released a statement regarding upcoming scheduled May competitions Kentucky Spring Horse Show (May 5-10) and Kentucky Spring Classic (May 12-17), comprising the Kentucky Spring Horse Shows Series.

We would like to clarify the current situation regarding our two May horse shows which are scheduled to begin in seven weeks.

At this point in time we are hoping to proceed as scheduled with our shows. Entries and stall reservations will remain open for both shows and may be secured online by credit card and by mail with a check. However, no credit cards will be charged and no checks deposited until we are certain that the shows can be held safely.

We will continue to monitor the situation and maintain communication with the Kentucky Horse Park, state and local health officials and the relevant equestrian sanctioning bodies. Should we determine that the shows cannot be held safely, we will notify all affected parties immediately. Any payments which have already been processed will be fully refunded. In the meantime, we will distribute any updates immediately by email, social media, [and our website].
