Hough and Ohlala have been partnered together since 2012. Together they have garnered 25 first place finishes in the CSI2*, CSI3*, CSI4*, and CSI5* levels, including a bronze medal in the 2015 Continental/Regional Games in Toronto, Canada. Hough is currently ranked 42nd in the world Longines jumping rankings and has spent the spring and early summer competing overseas.

Ohlala’s most recent podium finish was a third place in Paris this March. The 14-year-old mare is known for her spunky personality. Thankfully, according to Hough’s statement, Ohlala is expected to recover and return to the ring next year.

Jumper Nation extends our best wishes to Hough and all of Ohlala’s connections as she takes some time to recover. We hope to see this duo back in the ring as soon as Ohlala is feeling better!
