It was a nail-biting finish to the two-person jump-off for the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Madrid. Frenchman Olivier Roberts and Vivaldi des Meneaux laid down a speedy trip that was 2.5 seconds faster than Britain’s Scott Brash and Hello Jefferson. This was the biggest GP win of Robert’s career to date, moving him up to third in the LGCT Rankings behind Brash and Dutch rider Bart Bles.
