We’re barely past the excitement of the Olympics but the Longines Global Champions Tour continues to produce top sport with the best riders and horses in the world. This past week it was the LGCT of London, and the Grand Prix on Saturday provided lots of inspiration with amazing rounds from both old and young. The great Peder Fredericson, Olympic team gold medalist and individual silver with All In, took first with the appropriately-named Catch Me Not S, with second placed 66-year old legend John Whitaker slower by only .14 seconds on Unick du Francport. Third was captured by the only other clear round, Niels Bruynseels and Ilusionata van’t Meulenhof. Sunday saw the LGCT of London Finale put Christian Ahlmann and Sold Gold Z on top, just edging out Peder Fredericson and H&M Christian K. Emanuele Gaudiano came in third with Nikolaj de Music. The Global Champions League CSI5* also saw some thrilling competition, with the Shanghai Swans, London Knights, and St. Tropez Pirates topping the podium. Take a look at some pictures (and a really cute video of All In back at home with his friend)!
