Needing a little something to get you through the early part of this week? Check out the live stream of the Showplace Spring Spectacular III from HITS Chicago at Balmoral Park. Today’s schedule offers a wide variety of hunter derby classes including the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby and the $2,500 USHJA Pony Hunter Derby.
The action kicks off in the Grand Prix ring at 9:00 A.M. central time with the $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby. 12 contestants are set to battle it out for top honors. Immediately following the National Hunter Derby is the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby. We will see 15 riders aim to bring home the top prize in this class including Tracy Fenney, Annabella Sanchez, Brian Moggre and Ryan Sassmannshausen.
Over in the Grand Hunter Ring the USHJA Pony Hunter Derby begins at 9:00 A.M. Seven riders are entered in the class and we are just as excited to see some of the adorable pony names as we are the competition (one of their names is Training Wheels… #dying).
