Postcard from HITS Chicago Summertime I, Presented by Kentucky Performance Products

All of the HITS venues (aside from Ocala, which will open for the winter circuit) are now open and rocking competition in full swing!  Competitors have begun flocking to Virginia, New York, and Illinois to test their skills.  We bring you now to HITS Chicago at Lamplight Equestrian Center in Wayne, Illinois — the last postcard we sent from HITS Chicago was the very first show HITS ever hosted at the venue since acquiring the property.  It actively took feedback from competitors and even from YOU, our readers to improve the experience.  The Summertime Series is now off and running; enjoy the best moments thanks to Kentucky Performance Products!

It’s been a while since I’ve been in the show ring. This 6yr old mare took great care of me and she was a rockstar in a large class. 7th out of 30; love her. Week one of the John French KPF summer tour is a wrap. Babylon dominated, winning all of the 3’ Green Hunter classes as well as the Incentive with a score of 90! CeCe Williamson’s Hideaway was reserve champion in the 3’3” Green Hunter division. Kathleen Waldorf’s Cosmic Son had good ribbons in the 3’ Green Hunter division as well!

Our Riding Academy students had a fun time in their Leadline class yesterday at Lamplight! This was Mariana’s first ever horse show, and we are looking forward to watching her and Sunny Delight continue to progress and gain more show mileage! Jack did a fantastic job with Red Drum’s Patriot and is definitely ready for some walk trot classes in the near future! We love watching our Riding Academy students have a fun, positive, and educational introduction to the sport!
