Roberto Daza Clinches Victory at ESP October to Kick Off Fall Series

2018 ESP October saw Royal Palm Beach, FL, resident Roberto Daza aboard his own Crunch De Troteval Z take top honors in the 1.35m Open Stake sponsored by DeNiro Boot Co. The class welcomed top horse and rider duos to the Pablo Gamboa designed course, and four excelled to contest the fast track. Daza and Crunch De Troteval Z were victorious, stopping the timers at 36.754 seconds

Nelton Marcon of Lake Worth, FL, and the Verena Janssen owned entry, Elvis Santa Monica, claimed second place with a time of 42.074 seconds. Rileigh Tibbott of Ebensburg, PA, and her own Charley captured third place with a 43.28 seconds.

Sterling Malnik of Ocean Ridge, FL, claimed first place honors in the $500 Pony Hunter Classic aboard Silver Star Dynamo, owned by Charles Moorcroft, finishing with a score of 166.5. Second place was captured by Lauren Gee of Valdosta, GA, riding the Team Weston LLC owned entry, Tina Turner, with a score of 158. Gee also took third place aboard Vienna, another Team Weston LLC owned entry, finishing on a score of 157.

Ocala, FL, resident Mary Stavola, was victorious in the M&S Child/Adult Jumper Classic sponsored by Dover Saddlery, aboard Vegas II owned by Kimberden Inc., with a winning jump off time of 28.745. Ella Hess of Boca Raton, FL, and Samuri Mec owned by Grace Jordan, took second place stopping the timers at 29.47 seconds. Trinity Beitler of Coconut Creek, FL, and the Castlewood Farm Inc. owned entry, Boris III, claimed third place with a time of 28.345 seconds and four added faults.

Silvana Cabral of Coral Gables, FL, aboard Casqero, owned by Claudia Pedrozo, took first place honors in the Medium 1.30m Jr/AO Jumper Stake sponsored by Equiline, stopping the second round timers at 33.677 seconds. Rodrigo Cunha of Miami, FL, aboard his own Carpet took second place with a first round time of 69.866 seconds and four added faults.

Ella Bostwick of Wellington, FL, championed the #1 Education Place Junior Hunter 3’3″ division aboard Fariella FLF owned by Linda Sommers. Mary Stavola of Ocala, FL, and Nashville, owned by Kimberden Inc., took reserve champion.

Stavola also claimed champion honors in the Dover Saddlery Child/Adult Jumper division aboard Vegas II, owned by Kimberden Inc. Reserve champion was awarded to Samara Connery of Mt. Kisco, NY, riding her own Dolce Vita, and Ella Hess of Boca Raton, FL, aboard Samuri Mec owned by Grace Jordan.

Alexandra Pace of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, and the Irish Palms, LLC owned entry, Generaal, championed the Long Creek Farms Hopeful Jumper division. Peter Lloyd of Jupiter, FL, and his own Harlequin Du Susie claimed reserve honors.

Wellington, FL, resident Tatiana Andujar Iglesias aboard her own Amira, championed the High Schooling Jumper division. Ignacio Oberto of Miami Beach, FL, and Quentin, owned by Anselmo Alvarado, took reserve champion.

The Cross Rail Hunter (academy) division saw Chance Spector of Boynton Beach, FL, and his own Rox Star take champion honors. Francisco Convit of Wellington, FL, and his own Hot Pursuit placed reserve champion.

The Child/Adult Hunter division was championed by Emily Giovino of Davie, FL, aboard her own Good Egg. Myca Harris of Wellington, FL, and her own Sandro Reuben took reserve honors.
